West Ketchum Residences, a new luxury townhome development proposed for the former Bavarian Village site at the intersection of Rember Street and Bird Drive, received praise last week from Ketchum's P & Z committee.
The 10-unit townhome complex encompasses five two-story buildings and a private drive for access and is located on Bird Dirve, across the street from the Deer Run Townhome development. Records show 4 of 10 units already have reservations.
Two reserved units are listed for $1,745,000. The other two reserved units with are listed for $1,875,000.
West Ketchum is one of the nicest areas within the Ketchum city limits. The area offers easy walking to outdoor activities such as downhill and cross country skiing, the bike path as well as the Bigwood River.
Project representative Errin Bliss of Bliss Architecture said the development will likely feature tongue-and-groove siding, stone accents and open deck spaces, though it’s still conceptual.
Commissioners Jennifer Cosgrove and Kurt Eggers praised the complex’s aesthetics.
